Minimal Chemical Use Philosophy
All chemical use is managed in strict accordance with FSC® compliance, with every substance assessed against the highly hazardous pesticides list. Application is restricted to limited use of Picloram and Glyphosate for essential weed control only, with zero use of FSC® prohibited substances. Continuous evaluation ensures ongoing assessment and minimisation of chemical use across all operations.
Integrated Pest Management
Operations actively support New Zealand's national bovine tuberculosis eradication programme through professional partnerships with Ospri for authorised pest control. Targeted applications treat specific forest areas in accordance with regional programmes, contributing to TB-free outcomes across the wider landscape.
